We are seeking a Commodity Manager to join our dynamic team and report to the Director of Strategic Sourcing as the number 2 person in the sourcing department.
Lead development and execution of strategic sourcing and procurement plans for direct raw materials, driving cost efficiency, supplier performance, and inventory optimization.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and ethical sourcing standards.
Oversee supply‑demand balance, purchasing activities, and inventory performance, including cost tracking, aging materials, and ERP system accuracy.
Partner cross‑functionally (e.g., operations, quality, finance) to establish cost standards, improve processes, and support business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement through alternate sourcing strategies, supplier performance management, and procurement best practices.
Ensure adherence to safety, food quality, and regulatory requirements (FDA, GFSI, etc.) while supporting company quality systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
