Job summary

Mastronardi Produce in Jonestown, PA is seeking a Commodity Inventory Controller for the A1 Day Shift to manage inventory quality, allocations, and team communications. This on-site role supports production planning and coordinating with shipping and receiving to meet customer specs.

The position requires independent work, strong communication, and a willingness to learn product knowledge. Forklift safety certification and a valid license are required; shift is steady days with weekly rotation

Qualifications

• Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Must pass forklift safety test and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sign off on product quality in inventory and/or at the dock to meet customer specifications.
• Support Commodity Supervisors plan to create daily Production and Sales Order allocations.
• Communicate all necessary changes to Commodity Supervisor if differing from prior allocations.
• Follow up to ensure any rework is allocated and/or planned to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure allocations are updated and distributed throughout the day and executed as expected.
• Coordinate and assist in communicating customer expectations with the Commodity, Production, and Shipping teams.
• Communicate with the team on issues and concerns.
• Maintain regular communication with the Production Schedulers and Production Managers.
• Maintain regular communication with Receiving, with emphasis on load priorities and product specifications.
