Job summary

Mastronardi Produce is seeking a detail-oriented team member for a steady day shift (6:00 AM – 5:30 PM, rotating weeks). You will inspect inventory quality, support daily production and sales order allocations, and coordinate with Commodity, Production, and Shipping teams to meet customer specifications.

Ideal candidates communicate well in English, work independently, and adapt to a refrigerated warehouse environment, lifting up to 30 lbs and using NAV/JDA alongside Excel.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in the use of the English language with the ability to communicate professionally in both verbal and written formats.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Need to have a strong sense of urgency.
• Must have ability to effectively follow-up and handle multiple projects with strong personal time-management skills and effectively manage associated stress.
• Proficient in basic computer-use skills (i.e. Word, Excel) and will need to learn warehouse management systems such as NAV and JDA.
• Must pass our onsite driving and safety test for forklift.
• Must possess valid driver's license or present proof of current eye exam (within 1 Year).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sign off on product quality in inventory and/or at the dock to meet customer specifications.
• Support Commodity Supervisors plan to create daily Production and Sales Order allocations.
• Communicate all necessary changes to Commodity Supervisor if allocations differ from prior plan.
• Follow up to ensure any rework is allocated and planned to meet customer specs.
• Ensure allocations are updated and distributed throughout the day and executed as expected.
• Coordinate and assist in communicating customer expectations with the Commodity, Production, and Shipping teams.
• Communicate with the team on issues and concerns.
• Maintain regular communication with the Production Schedulers and Production Managers.
• Maintain regular communication with Receiving, with emphasis on load priorities and product specs.

Job description

Steady Day Shift: 6AM - 5:30PM. Rotates every week between two weekly schedules.

Week 1 -Sun, Mon, Fri, Sat

Week 2 -Tues, Wed, Thurs

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Inspect and sign off on product quality in inventory and/or at the dock to meet customer specifications

• Communicate with the team on issues and concerns

Basic Qualifications:

• Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of job

• Background check and Drug Screening required

• Must be able to work in refrigerated warehouse with controlled temperatures between 45-50 degrees
• Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.

• Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills
