Job summary

Peoplelink Staffing in Claypool, IN is seeking a Commodity Handler for our soybean crushing and biodiesel plant. You will load and unload products, help maintain quality, and ensure compliance with company and government regulations to keep production and deliveries on track.

Experience with loaders and basic math is a plus; safety PPE is required. This is a contract-to-hire role offering on-site work and opportunities to grow with the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience operating skid loaders, front-end loaders, and/or forklifts.
• Ability to load and unload trucks and railcars efficiently.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills and basic math proficiency.
• Fundamental PC skills for data entry and operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products as directed to maintain smooth production and delivery flows.
• Ensure quality standards are met and proper documentation is maintained.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, USDA, ISO).
• Coordinate with truck/railcar teams to maintain timeliness and accuracy.
