Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Procurement Commodity Analyst to support sourcing strategies, spend analysis, and supplier evaluation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will help with RFQ/RFP processes, develop cost models, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective decisions.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in commodities and supplier management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 1–3 years in sourcing, procurement, or data analysis.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP).
  • Understanding of RFQ/RFP processes and total landed cost.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze category spend and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Support RFQ/RFP processes with data collection and bid analysis.
  • Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Develop cost models and total landed cost evaluations.
  • Track savings, PPV, and spend impact against objectives.
  • Maintain supplier and spend data in ERP systems.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership.

This role is responsible for supporting RFQ/RFP processes, maintaining sourcing data, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing recommendations are aligned with quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements.This position is ideal for a highly analytical, organized, and proactive professional who is beginning to build sourcing, commodity, and supplier management expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:Analyze category spend and identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency, and supplier optimization.Support the preparation and execution of RFQs/RFPs, including data collection, supplier communication, bid comparison, and analysisMonitor supplier performance using KPIs, scorecards, and risk evaluationsCollaborate with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support sourcing decisions and procurement needsDevelop cost models, should-cost analysis, and total landed cost evaluations to support sourcing recommendations.Track savings, PPV, and spend impact against assigned objectives.Maintain accurate supplier, spend, and sourcing data in ERP and procurement systems.Prepare reports and presentations to provide visibility to leadership and stakeholders.Support supplier selection and sourcing recommendations based on data, market intelligence, supplier performance, and risk.The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, data analysis, purchasing, or related field.Advanced English level.Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards.Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.Understanding of RFQ/RFP processes, spend analysis, cost drivers, supplier KPIs, and basic logistics concepts such as Incoterms and total landed cost.Effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, organization, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn sourcing fundamentals.Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer committed to attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
