Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Dallas seeks an Associate in Commodities Documentation within GBM Operations. You will partner with derivative trading desks, lawyers and external counsel to prepare and review trade documentation and ensure accurate ISDA definitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with competitive GPA.
• At least 3 years of professional work experience in financial services operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.
• Strong technical skills and keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong business relationships with derivative trading desks.
• Prepare and review legal documentation of standard and non-standard derivative trade documentation with Trading, Legal and outside counsel.
• Partner with Trading and other Operations teams to provide commentary on legal language for long-term support requirements.
• Ensure control measures are in place to support existing and new structured transactions.
• Ensure confirmations accurately incorporate ISDA Definitions, Supplements and MCAs.
• Coordinate with external clients to ensure timely execution of confirmations and resolve inquiries.
