Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a GBM Public Compliance professional to advise on regulatory and reputational risks for the Commodities unit on a day-to-day basis. The role involves policy development, training delivery, and handling investigations with senior compliance leaders.

You will interact with traders, sales, and support functions while upholding strict standards of integrity and judgment in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and organizational abilities; able to work under pressure.
• Commitment to integrity and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time compliance advice to Global Banking & Markets – Commodities for transactions and new initiatives.
• Develop policies, procedures and best practices for business units.
• Contribute to analysis and interpretation of new rules/regulations.
• Deliver compliance training and awareness across teams.
• Lead or assist with regulatory investigations and audits as needed.
• Identify and manage regulatory, legal and reputational risks.
• Review escalations from surveillance reports and coordinate responses.
