Job summary

Coulter Services is seeking a commissioning engineer to support energy and utilities operations. You will execute commissioning, start-up, and functional testing of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, reviewing drawings and procedures to ensure readiness and safety.

Responsibilities include site field checks, issue troubleshooting, and documenting results. You will collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure a safe, reliable system handover and thorough final verification.

Qualifications

• Hands-on commissioning and functional testing of multidisciplinary systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control system operation and verification.
• Ability to interpret drawings and follow commissioning/testing procedures.
• Competent troubleshooting skills with clear, structured documentation.
• Commitment to a strong safety culture and safe work practices.
• Good teamwork and communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning, start-up, and functional testing of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

• Troubleshoot issues during commissioning and testing, coordinating with engineering as needed.
