Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Field Commissioning Technician to support a major utility-scale BESS project in Utah. This is a hands-on field role handling commissioning, testing and energisation through to final system turnover at the site.

You will perform field walkdowns, QA/QC inspections, energisation support, switching, and review of drawings and procedures. Coordinate with site teams and vendors to drive completion and turnover, with a 7-day per diem and mobilisation support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience within renewable energy construction, electrical field work or commissioning.
• Hands-on utility-scale solar and/or BESS experience.
• Electrical testing, troubleshooting and commissioning experience.
• Understanding of inverters, MV equipment and electrical systems.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and commissioning procedures.
• Strong safety awareness and experience working on active construction sites.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, SCADA/PPC or substation experience would be advantageous.
