Job summary

CMC is seeking a Field Commissioning Technician to support a major utility-scale Solar and BESS project in Enoch, Utah. This hands-on field role covers commissioning, testing and energisation through to final turnover.

You will perform field walkdowns and QA/QC inspections, assist energisation and switching, work with inverters, MV equipment and SCADA, and coordinate with site teams and vendors to track punch-list items and drive completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in renewable energy construction or electrical field work.
• Hands-on utility-scale solar and/or BESS experience.
• Electrical testing, troubleshooting and commissioning experience.
• Understanding of inverters, MV equipment and electrical systems.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and commissioning procedures.
• Strong safety awareness on active construction sites.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, SCADA/PPC or substation experience would be advantageous.
