Qualifications

  • ANSI commissioning certification (CxA, CxT, BCxP, Certified Commissioning Professional).

Responsibilities
  • Manage the commissioning process on various in-house small to medium-sized projects
  • Perform Commissioning design reviews, submittal reviews and closeout document reviews
  • Create pre-functioning and functional checklists and commissioning plans
  • Conduct Commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projects
  • Perform field observations and functional testing
  • Document and track test results on issue resolution logs
  • Create commissioning deliverables such as final commissioning reports
  • Assist in the review and development of staff training and continuing education opportunities
  • Act as a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) to support the Project Manager of Commissioning
Qualifications

Experience

  • Eight (8) years full-time paid professional experience in commissioning
  • Working knowledge of building code, CHPS, and commissioning requirements
  • ANSI commissioning certification (CxA, CxT, BCxP, Certified Commissioning Professional)
  • Extensive knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems

Education

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture or construction management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in design or construction management with a focus on mechanical systems
  • Engineer-In-Training Certification (EIT) or valid CA Professional Engineering License (PE)
  • Industry-recognized energy management certification
Wage
  • Starting Salary range for this job is $140,000.00 - $160,000.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment
