Brunel is currently searching for a Commissioning Technical Support Admin for a long-term contract opportunity with our mining client’s commissioning team. This role will be Phoenix based on a work from home base with availability to be in-office in Phoenix when required for face-to-face collaboration.
In this role you will report to the Director of Commissioning and will be responsible for preparing and supporting daily, weekly and monthly reports for construction projects.
Duties
- Exceptional report writing abilities by producing clear, accurate and well-structured documents to support the project teams.
- Organizing information to ensure consistency across deliverables and maintaining high standards in written communication. This role is suitable for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently maintains accuracy and structure in all deliverables.
- Prepare and support daily, weekly and monthly reports for projects.
- Track systems completion and readiness.
- Support project dashboards and progress tracking reports.
- Track and summarize project status and report out.
- Support commissioning procedures and documentation.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience working on a major construction/commissioning project as administrative support. Experience in the mining industry, or EPC environment is preferred.
- Extensive experience with OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint and MS Office Required.
- MUST be experienced developing reports in PowerBI.
- Must be cooperative and be able to communicate with all levels of staff, managers and employees.
- Must be able to work under moderate supervision, set priorities, and timelines that may impact individual work.
- Exceptional ability to produce high quality technical reports, summaries, graphs and presentations by gathering data from multiple sources to create.
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing written reports, data summaries and project updates.
- Ability to coordinate calendars, meetings and action items.
- Highly organized at maintaining documentation systems, tracking action items, times and progress updates.
- Ability to assist with drafting communications and preparing materials.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English, Spanish proficiency is a strong plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to guidelines and deadlines.
- MUST be eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be able to work on a Mon-Fri schedule and be willing to work outside of standard hours as needed to accommodate Director’s travels schedule.
- Willingness to travel to Toronto from time to time.
- Preference for bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish.
