Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in New York is offering a Summer Commissioning Intern position to gain hands-on experience on landmark projects worldwide. You will work with our engineering team on MEP systems, CAD drawings, and site observations, gaining exposure to our EDT program and professional development.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, is at least in their second year, and has basic knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum second year completed.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus.
• Knowledge of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
