Job summary

Trinity Consultants Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Commissioning Project Manager to lead a team of commissioning professionals on mission-critical data center construction projects. This field-based role executes Level 2–4 activities, ensuring quality, schedules, and documentation are met.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree, 4+ years of commissioning or construction experience, and 2+ years of leadership. Willingness to travel 75%+ is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in commissioning, construction, or related field.
• 2+ years of project or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Data center commissioning experience preferred.
• Travel of 75%+ is required.

Responsibilities

Job description

The position is based in Atlanta, GA and requires extensive travel; current project work includes Oklahoma, Iowa, and Georgia.

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Project Manager to lead a team of mechanical and electrical commissioning professionals delivering commissioning services on mission-critical data center construction projects. This field-based role is responsible for executing Level 2 (installation verification), Level 3 (functional performance testing), and Level 4 (integrated systems testing) activities while ensuring quality, schedule, and documentation requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commissioning teams on data center projects.
• Execute Level 2, 3, and 4 commissioning activities.
• Develop and oversee commissioning plans, test scripts, checklists, and issue logs.
• Coordinate with contractors, controls integrators, and owner representatives.
