Job summary

IMEG, a 100% employee-owned firm, is seeking a Commissioning Project Authority in San Antonio, TX. You will manage commissioning on moderate-size projects, prepare plans and reports, review design documents, and support testing and post-occupancy activities.

You will coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and lead field observations and meetings, contributing to process improvement and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Recognized Building Commissioning Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Manage and/or support multiple commissioning projects with client interface and team coordination.
• Assist the Cx Authority/Engineer on commissioning projects.
• Prepare commissioning plans, reports, and functional test procedures.
• Perform commissioning reviews of documents and equipment submittals.
• Use web-based project management tools (Cx Alloy).
• Assist with functional testing of building systems and analyze operations.
• Lead field observations and Cx meetings; write detailed field reports.
