Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Commissioning Analytics Specialist for a remote role. You will oversee commissioning, testing, startup, compliance, and reporting as the Owner’s representative, coordinating with contractors and vendors on-site or remotely.

The position requires hands-on field experience in BESS/PV/Wind, knowledge of SCADA and PPA/GIA testing, and the ability to develop commissioning schedules. Competitive hourly pay and remote work options are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on field tech experience in BESS, PV Solar or Wind.
• Experience with Capacity testing, SCADA Systems, PPA or GIA testing, LGIA testing, inverter testing.
• Thorough understanding of DC systems (0-2,000Vdc) and AC systems (480V-34.5kV).

Insight Global is looking for a Commissioning Analytics Specialist to join their team for a remote opportunity. The Commissioning Analytics Specialist will be working on one of the world’s largest Battery Energy Storage System and Solar site Developers, for the client. The primary roles are to conduct plant testing, performance testing, ISO/GIA/PPA Testing and startup of a Battery Energy Storage System and Solar Coupled Power systems. To act as the Owner’s representative to oversee aspects of the energy storage system including compliance, status reporting, safety, startup, commissioning, and testing. Employees in this role manage and report on commissioning, and performance testing work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Participates in safety program and audits
• Support PPA Testing with Customer
• Support GIA Testing with TO
• Support ISO testing
• Manage test energy forecast with the customer
• Support ICCP IT SCADA Team and SCADA PM/Lead with functional checks
• Work with SCADA Integrator and Execution Commissioning Project manager to develop a Commissioning schedule based on Mechanical completion
• Work with SCADA integrator and Commissioning Manger to execute site acceptance testing.
• Support CEWIS Critical Point Checkout with ROCC alarm checks/PGD
• Perform OEM Testing
• Perform Plant Balancing
• Perform Capacity Testing
• Perform notification of AVR/AGC and support
• Review performance data for deficiencies

$50-$75/HR

Skills and Requirements
