Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall is seeking a skilled Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to deliver comprehensive cost management across the full project lifecycle, including forecasting, change control, and procurement processes. You will drive value optimization and ensure alignment with client objectives from inception through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CM, electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years construction or commissioning experience.
• 10+ years commissioning MEP in hyperscale data centers or mission-critical projects.
• Experience leading project teams and end-to-end commissioning across multiple projects.
• Strong cost management, contract administration, and scheduling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Review scope and docs to align with owner requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee commissioning specs, plans, checklists, and testing protocols.
• Represent owner during site visits and inspections.
• Coordinate functional performance testing and project milestones.
• Prepare technical docs: logs, minutes, reports, closeout deliverables.
• Foster communication among owners, designers, contractors and commissioning teams.
• Lead system testing programs for NETA, SCADA, controls, mechanical, electrical, life safety.
