Job summary

The Ladders seeks a Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning for large-scale power generation projects. You will develop strategies, schedules, and cost plans, ensure safety and EHS compliance, coordinate tests, and deliver defect-free turnover to customers on global assignments.

This remote-US role requires strong field leadership, cross-functional collaboration with project teams, supervisors, technicians, and customers, and willingness to travel worldwide.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of commissioning experience in power plants.
  • Experience leading teams of supervisors and technicians.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in commissioning.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Commissioning Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will lead commissioning activities for large-scale power generation projects, with a focus on planning, execution, safety, and successful turnover. The Commissioning Manager will coordinate closely with project teams, supervisors, technicians, and customers to ensure milestones are met and systems are delivered to specification. This position requires strong field leadership, technical oversight, and the ability to manage complex commissioning efforts across global assignments.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $114,100 – $190,200 annually

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage commissioning strategies, schedules, and costs to meet project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS plans and safe work systems on-site.
  • Coordinate and manage contractual tests, ensuring defect‑free turnover to customers.
  • Supervise and promote commissioning personnel and maintain team effectiveness.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in commissioning.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide for long‑term assignments.
