Job summary

MXI Partners is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to provide owner-level technical oversight on multiple large-scale data center projects. You will lead end-to-end commissioning and QC from pre-functional testing to turnover, collaborating with GCs, trade partners, vendors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong MEP, testing, commissioning or QC background and knowledge of critical power distribution, UPS, generators, chillers, CRAH/CRAC and BMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide owner-level representation and technical oversight across multiple data center projects.
• Manage commissioning and QC processes from pre-functional testing through turnover.
• Coordinate daily field activities with GCs, trade partners, and commissioning agents.
• Review commissioning scripts, MOPs, MEP schematics, and test reports.
• Ensure MEP systems meet design intent and operational requirements.

Job description

A leading data center infrastructure partner is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to provide owner-level technical oversight across multiple large-scale data center projects.

The role will oversee the end-to-end commissioning and quality control process, from pre-functional testing through functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and final turnover. You will work closely with general contractors, trade partners, vendors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to identify and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide owner-level representation and technical oversight across multiple data center projects
• Manage commissioning and QC processes from pre-functional testing through turnover
• Coordinate daily field activities with GCs, trade partners, and commissioning agents
• Review commissioning scripts, MOPs, MEP schematics, and test reports
• Ensure MEP systems meet design intent and operational requirements
