This role ensures that all systems perform precisely as designed and meet stringent operational and regulatory standards, bridging the gap between design, construction, and operations.# **Job Description****Primary Duties & Responsibilities:*** Develop, review, and execute comprehensive commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Prepare commissioning checklists and associated documents.* Oversee and conduct on-site inspections, pre-functional checks, functional performance testing (FPT), and integrated systems testing.* Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex system deficiencies and performance issues in collaboration with design engineers, contractors, and vendors.* Serve as the primary technical liaison, coordinating activities between design, construction, operations teams, and third-party vendors to ensure a seamless commissioning process.* Ensure all commissioning activities and documentation adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.* Maintain meticulous documentation of all test results, observations, and resolutions; prepare detailed commissioning reports for key stakeholders.* Provide technical support and comprehensive training to facility operations and maintenance personnel for newly commissioned systems.* Promote and ensure compliance with all on-site safety protocols and procedures.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Working Conditions:** Job Location/Working Conditions* Construction office and work site (exposure to machinery and equipment).* Requires extensive safety training.* Stockroom or warehouse.* High noise environment.* Dust, dirt, grease or other disagreeable elements.* Ability to travel to various on- and off-campus locations.Physical Effort* Typically sitting at desk or table.* Typically standing or walking.* Typically bending, crouching, stooping.* Occasional lifting (25 lbs or less).Equipment* Office equipment.* Exposure to moving machinery.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
