Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Commissioning Consultant to join the Buildings team in a role based in the Chicago area, with extensive travel to domestic locations (75%+). You will perform basic commissioning tasks and project management duties under supervision, coordinating with the Senior Cx Authority and project team to deliver client-focused outcomes.

The position requires an engineering degree (FE/EIT preferred) and the ability to read technical specifications, manage timelines, and maintain budgets

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commissioning practices and related concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regs.
• Excellent communication to coordinate with vendors and team.

Responsibilities

• Develops basic commissioning deliverables under minimal supervision.
• Prepares project deliverables with input from Senior Cx Authority.
• Follows quality management processes and QA reviews.
• Assists project manager with scheduling, budgeting and prioritization.
