Job summary

Valmet Corporation is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our global Pulp, Energy & Circularity Commissioning team. You will support planning and preparations, and conduct commissioning on Valmet installation sites worldwide, focusing on White Liquor Plants.

You will collaborate with customers and Valmet teams, ensure safety, quality, and timeliness, and contribute to documentation, reports and validation of equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• You should have a degree in a suitable technical field as well as working experience in pulp mills or power generation operations.
• Hands-on experience in commissioning works of similar equipment and knowledge of automation or control systems is also appreciated.
• Fluent English skills are essential in this position.

Responsibilities

• Planning start-ups in co-operation with customer.

As a Commissioning Engineer you will support the commissioning planning and preparations at the office, and you get to do commissioning works on Valmet installation sites around the world. The projects include PEC projects focusing on White Liquor Plants.As Commissioning Engineer you will make sure the commissioning works are done according to Valmet plans and instructions: in schedule, in budget and with good quality. Mostly work is done together with the Valmet team and the client on site, but in smaller projects you can work independently.
