Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a seasoned Commissioning Engineer to lead hydrogen electrolyzer installations across customer sites in the Minneapolis area. You will coordinate field activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects meet schedule and budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong SCADA/PLC/VFD experience, hands-on controls and instrumentation expertise, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical docs.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical or BE Instrumentation required.
• Experience with SCADA/PLC/VFDs and process plant automation.
• Strong instrumentation and controls experience.
• Hands-on engineering with ability to read schematics and specs.
• Tenacious, capable of handling high volume customer needs.
• Previous EPC or Oil & Gas exposure is a plus.
• System Requirements Engineering and Project Management skills.

Requirements

• BE Mechanical/ BE Instrumentation (Electromechanics).
• Working experiences on SCADA/PLC/VFDs/ Process Plant automation/Utilities/ Industrial Networks/ Gas systems backgrounds together with the availability to travel are the expectations and skillsets we have in mind.
• Good instrumentation and controls experiences.
• Hands on, practical engineering experience -including the ability to interpret schematic diagrams and technical specification documents.
• Demonstrate a tenacious personality and the ability to manage a high volume of customer needs at anytime.
• Previous EPC, Oil & Gas experience is considered an asset.
