Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. seeks a Commissioning Agent for its West Palm Beach office, reporting to the Tampa office, to help clients achieve energy-efficient building solutions and greener outcomes.

You will resolve commissioning challenges, develop and implement delivery plans from OPR, BOD, specs, field surveys and code research, and work with project partners to ensure design intent is realized. You should have an HVAC or related technical degree, knowledge of building systems, and strong

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate Degree in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or architectural design, or construction engineering from an accredited technical institution or college; or commensurate design or construction experience.
• General understanding of building systems across disciplines including fire protection, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing/piping.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret codes, guidelines and standards related to commissioning, design and construction.
• Experience in computer operation and ability to learn engineering calculation programs, computer-aided drafting/BIM software for the purpose accessing and interpreting design requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and state required vehicle insurance.

In this role, you will be responsible for resolving commissioning challenges and completing tasks assigned, including developing and implementing commissioning process delivery plans from information set forth in Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR), Basis of Design (BOD), plans and specification construction documents, as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.

Expertise of our most successfulCommissioning Agent:
