KIPP Delta Public Schools is seeking a Commissioned School Security Officer (CSSO) to ensure a safe learning environment. The CSSO will monitor campus security, respond to incidents, and foster a culture of safety. This role requires a valid CSSO license and experience in law enforcement or school security.
Job Description
The Commissioned School Security Officer (CSSO) ensures a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment. Working under the guidance of the school’s leadership and the Arkansas State Police (ASP), the CSSO is an armed and trained professional responsible for monitoring campus security, responding to incidents, and fostering a safety culture. This position is authorized under Act 393 of 2015 and follows Arkansas State Police (ASP) licensing standards for Commissioned School Security Officers. CSSOs complement school resource officers (SROs) where SROs may not be available full-time or district-wide.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
** Education : **High school diploma or equivalent required.
**License : **Valid Commissioned School Security Officer (CSSO) license issued by the Arkansas State Police required.
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or school security.
Additional Information
School Resource Officer wages will be based on individual experience and within the SY 2025-26 Salary Schedule.
