Job summary

The Hertz Local Edition team is seeking a Customer Service and Sales Associate to provide world-class service and professionally sell Hertz products to meet travel and insurance replacement needs.

This role offers wage opportunities of $17.50 per hour, with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, 401(k), and employee discounts. The position emphasizes upselling, reservations, and delivering a superior rental experience.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license with record in good standing.
• Ability to drive and operate vehicles.
• Fluency in English.
• 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate and offer ancillary products and services to enhance customer’s travel experience.
• Strong emphasis on selling and revenue maximization on core products and options to waive damage, fuel, and vehicle upsells.
• Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team goals.
• Work in a fast-paced sales environment, providing helpful, quality service and sales, while enhancing the rental experience.
• Convert phone shops to reservations and rentals.
• Create a positive customer service experience by listening to customer needs.
• Engage customers in a courteous manner and ensure satisfaction and service.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by proactively addressing objections and securing bookings.
• Assist customers with post rental inquiries involving rental and billing.
