Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, seeks a Commissioned Driver Helper to assist with daily deliveries and earn a path toward a CDL. The role involves handling up to 1,200 cases by hand, with early dispatch times and long shifts in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with no prior experience required; training provided.
• Prior experience in warehouse, delivery, or manual labor is a plus.

• Must pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report (MVR), drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of up to 600 - 1,200 cases by hand daily.
• Support daily delivery operations and help ensure accurate, timely deliveries.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, dispatch between 3:00 am and 5:00 am, 10-12 hour shifts.

Commissioned Driver Helper - (Get on track to earning your CDL!)

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers. Labatt wants its Commissioned drivers to have the safest fleet of trucks available. Trucks are equipped with the latest suite of radar and safety technology on the market, such as: adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All our trucks are new and with automatic transmissions that will help with a smooth ride every day.

Commissioned Driver Helper Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with the delivery of up to 600 - 1,200 cases by hand daily.

Commissioned Driver Helper Qualifications

• Entry Level - no experience required - we will help you start and build a career!
• Any of the following previous experiences is a plus! - Warehouse worker, Warehouse associate, delivery driver, package handler, order selector, manufacturing, factory worker, construction, general labor, laborer, landscaping, shipping and receiving, material handler, or any job where you work with your hands!
• Must have the desire to become a Route Driver
• Must bring a valid Texas driver's license, and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am and 5:00 am to finish (10-12 hour shifts)
