Job summary

Labatt Food Service is seeking Student Drivers to join our logistics team. You will deliver and unload cases daily, learn tractor-trailer operation, and engage with customers at stops along your route.

Eligible candidates must hold a Texas Class A CDL or permit and pass background checks, MVR, drug test, and physical. Training is provided, with weekend home time and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas Class A Permit or Texas Class A CDL.
• Proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States.
• Pass pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload 600–1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops.
• Learn how to drive a tractor-trailer.
• Interact with customers.

Labatt Food's Student Driver Program has graduated over 300 students since its origination. Labatt wants its drivers to have the safest fleet of trucks available. Trucks are equipped with the latest suite of radar and safety technology on the market, such as adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All our trucks are new and with automatic transmissions that will help with a smooth ride every day.

Student Drivers Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering and unloading 600 - 1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops
• Learning how to drive a tractor-trailer
• Interacting with customers

Student Drivers Qualifications

• Must be able to provide a valid Texas Class A Permit or Texas Class A CDL and proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States
• Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am - 5:00 am to finish
