Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana is seeking an intermediate level role to support the accurate calculation and processing of commission and sales incentive payments. The role will assist in maintaining commission systems, resolving discrepancies, responding to producer inquiries, data analysis, and testing enhancements to support operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, HR or related field; 4 years experience in lieu.
2 years of related commission/incentive/payroll system experience; health insurance industry preferred.
Strong verbal/written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; Excel proficiency.
Able to handle time constraints with shifting priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Daily operation and maintenance of the Commission System, including data entry and file loading.
First tier support for producers and internal staff on commission calculations via email/phone.
Coordinate research and troubleshooting with internal departments.
Gathers data for audit requests to present accurate reporting.
Tests system enhancements during quarterly releases and as needed.
