Job summary

Fairly Even is seeking a Commission-only Business Development Manager to actively engage local merchants, present our POS and Payments solutions, and close deals. This 1099 contractor role offers uncapped earnings with upfront commissions and monthly residuals.

You will prospect, cold-call, and visit businesses in NYC or remotely, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with a dynamic, growth-focused team. Prior outside sales experience is valued, with a flexible, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of outside sales experience.
• Experience in retail store environments or customer service roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and meet local merchants, promote services and generate new business.
• Navigate gatekeepers to secure appointments with business owners and decision-makers.
• Demonstrate POS system benefits and payment processing solutions to clients.
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signing.
