Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking entry-level, full-time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate in pawn store locations nationwide. You will greet customers, process sales and loans, and work with jewelry and general merchandise. Commission is earned in addition to hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must work extended periods including standing, bending, walking.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and offer financial solutions.
• Performs open/close procedures.
• Keeps sales floor clean, stocked, and displays presentable.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partners with staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as needed.
• Participates in ongoing training and upholds company policies.
