Regions Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role directs origination of residential mortgage loans from a borrower through a branch network, and requires building external referral relationships with realtors, builders, and financial planners to grow production.

This commission-based position has historically yielded total compensation of $20,000–$100,000+ per year, vary by location and performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of mortgage lending experience with proven mortgage production.
• Abundant mortgage experience in developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and customer credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers, communicating progress of loan and obtaining documentation.
• Structures loan to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Establishes marketing plan and frequency of contact with potential and existing customers.
• Makes sales calls to develop new business or retain existing business.
• Cross-sell other bank products and services.
• Reads surveys and appraisals and addresses encroachments/violations.
