Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network is seeking Operations Team Members to join a fast-paced, on-site role within a correctional environment. You will report to the Operations Manager and provide commissary services across assigned facilities, with mileage reimbursement and a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30am–4:00pm).

You will work around inmates and may require overnight stays. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and have reliable transportation to cover a 90-mile radius;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 90 mile radius.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to canteens at correctional facilities under supervision.
• Assist onsite manager with monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain cleanliness and OSHA/CCA guidelines where applicable.
• Attend on-site security trainings and stay current on certifications.
• Work at multiple locations within a 90-mile radius as assigned.

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

This position is onsite located within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

The Commissary Representative Floater will help provide commissary operations and services to assigned location anywhere within the district of the home unit. In addition to base pay, we offer mileage reimbursement of $0.76 per mile driven.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Deliver product to canteens at specified correctional facilities with the management of a correctional officer following all rules and regulations.
• Assist onsite manager with completion of monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain all areas/equipment/products in a clean manner and maintain American Correctional Association & American Jail Association guidelines when applicable.
• Attend training, annual on-site security classes and remain current in certifications.
• You will work at several locations within a 90-mile radius of home unit, as assigned by District Manager.
• Follow all the procedures.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Retail, grocery or warehouse experience.
• Data entry (Excel and Word).
• Will attend Quarterly Program every quarter (1 to 2 weeks).
• Must be comfortable with operating a company van. (If the van is not available, the floater will need to use their own vehicle).
• You will have overnight stays.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation – will need to travel within a 90 mile radius.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.
