Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network, a division of TKC Holdings, Inc., is hiring for an on-site Commissary Floater in a correctional setting with Monday–Friday shifts from 7:30am to 4:00pm. You will travel within a 90-mile radius, deliver to canteens, and receive a $0.76 per mile mileage reimbursement.

Data entry and inventory support are part of the duties. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to canteens at correctional facilities with a CO following rules.
• Assist onsite manager with monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain clean areas/equipment and follow ACA/AAJ guidelines where applicable.
• Attend security trainings and stay current in certifications.
• Work at multiple locations within a 90-mile radius as assigned.
• Data entry using Excel and Word.
• Overnight stays may be required.
• Operate a company van; may use own vehicle if van is unavailable.

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

This position is onsite located within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

The Commissary Representative Floater will help provide commissary operations and services to assigned location anywhere within the district of the home unit. In addition to base pay, we offer mileage reimbursement of $0.76 per mile driven.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Deliver product to canteens at specified correctional facilities with the management of a correctional officer following all rules and regulations.
• Assist onsite manager with completion of monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain all areas/equipment/products in a clean manner and maintain American Correctional Association & American Jail Association guidelines when applicable.
• Attend training, annual on-site security classes and remain current in certifications.
• You will work at several locations within a 90-mile radius of home unit, as assigned by District Manager.
• Follow all the procedures.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Retail, grocery or warehouse experience.
• Data entry (Excel and Word).
• Will attend Quarterly Program every quarter (1 to 2 weeks).
• Must be comfortable with operating a company van. (If the van is not available, the floater will need to use their own vehicle).
• You will have overnight stays.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation - will need to travel within a 90 mile radius.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.
