Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network, a division of TKC Holdings, Inc., is hiring a Commissary Representative to support operations at a correctional facility. This onsite role involves delivering products to canteens, maintaining inventories, and assisting the onsite manager in a fast-paced prison environment.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with duties including stocking, keeping areas clean to ACA standards, and using Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma or GED or equivalent training/experience.
• Prior retail, grocery or warehouse experience is helpful.
• Familiarity with computers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to canteens at correctional facilities under supervision.
• Assist onsite manager with monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain clean and compliant work areas per ACA/AAJ standards.
• Attend training and security classes as required.
• Keep workspace clean and organized.

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

This position is onsite located within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

The primary responsibility of a Commissary Representative is to help provide commissary operations and services to assigned location within a prison environment (position works directly with inmates).

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Deliver product to canteens at specified correctional facilities with the management of a correctional officer following all rules and regulations.
• Assist onsite manager with completion of monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain all areas/equipment/products in a clean manner and maintaining American Correctional Association & American Jail Association standards when applicable.
• Attend training, annual on-site security classes and remain current in certifications.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Previous retail, grocery or warehouse experience.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

Compensation

• Regular pay raises based on performance and experience levels
• Weekly pay, every Thursday

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.
