Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network is seeking operations team members to join a fast-paced on-site role within a correctional facility. The position reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on commissary operations for inmates.

Primary duties include delivering products to canteens, managing inventories, and maintaining clean, compliant workspaces. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and be comfortable with computers; prior retail/warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Familiarity with computers preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to canteens at correctional facilities under officer supervision
• Assist onsite manager with monthly canteen inventories
• Maintain areas/equipment/products to ACA and AJ A standards where applicable
• Attend training and on-site security classes; stay current in certifications
• Keep workspace clean and organized
• Previous retail, grocery or warehouse experience is helpful
• Proficient with Excel and Word
• Perform other duties as needed

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

This position is onsite located within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

The primary responsibility of a Commissary Representative is to help provide commissary operations and services to assigned location within a prison environment (position works directly with inmates).

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Deliver product to canteens at specified correctional facilities with the management of a correctional officer following all rules and regulations.
• Assist onsite manager with completion of monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain all areas/equipment/products in a clean manner and maintaining American Correctional Association & American Jail Association standards when applicable.
• Attend training, annual on-site security classes and remain current in certifications.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Previous retail, grocery or warehouse experience.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

Compensation

• Regular pay raises based on performance and experience levels
• Weekly pay, every Thursday
