Job summary

Keefe Group, a TKC Holdings Company, is seeking a Commissary Operations Supervisor for correctional facilities. The role focuses on supervising commissary operations, training staff, managing inventories, and ensuring efficient on-site processes.

Scheduled for Tue and Fri 8a-4p, Wed-Thu 7a-7p, with duties including reporting, process improvements, and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with inventory management.
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs).
• Requires strong supervisory skills: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to work in a correctional environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to define problems, and resolve them quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage training of new team members.
• Maintain working knowledge of all phases of your department operations.
• Make sure employees are working where needed and employees are staying busy.
• Assist to maintain accurate inventories of all products.
• Complete required reporting.
• Provide recommendations on areas of improvement.
• Document and inform Management of all priority tasks and personnel problems.
• Report any problems, discrepancies, issues to Management in a timely manner with written documentation.
• Responsible for assisting with general upkeep of all areas/equipment/products in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
• Set example to promote positive attitude and teamwork!
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.
