Job summary

Aramark in Fremont, CA is seeking a Commissary Supervisor to coordinate commissary operations at the jail, ensuring correct product delivery to each location.

You will oversee receiving, tagging, pricing, inventory, training, POS, and guest service with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar employment environment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the receiving, tagging, pricing, and storing of all incoming merchandise.
• Assigns daily tasks to Gift Commissary staff and ensures tasks performed correctly and timely with high standards of customer service.
• Coordinates movement of incoming merchandise to retail office, storage, and display floor.
• Cashes when vital to expedite guest purchasing.
• Orchestrates special projects (holidays, events, book signings, etc.) as needed.
• Provides information to team members on new products or procedures.
• Works with General Manager and Commissary Manager to take inventory and improve floor productivity.
• Full understanding of the point-of-sale system.
• Assists all guests in any possible way.
• Trains new hires on POS system, safety, and job responsibilities.
• Follows and implements all emergency procedures.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Commissary Manager, the Commissary Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of Commissary at the jail so that each location receives the correct product.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $26.00.
