Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Commissary Manager for the Pinellas County Jail to direct daily retail/commissary operations at the facility after completing an ACS training program.

You will establish systems for planning, directing and coordinating commissary activities, oversee staffing, inventory, and promotions, and ensure sanitation and safety while upholding Aramark and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years retail industry experience.
• Ability to manage diverse teams and communicate effectively.
• Proven initiative and decision-making capabilities.
• P&L accountability and/or contract-management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain systems for planning, directing, and coordinating commissary activities.
• Coordinate unit forecast and unit accounting processes.
• Ensure sanitation and safety levels in areas are met.
• Execute promotions assigned for the location.
• Supervise unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control.
• Oversee labor scheduling, staffing and employee training.
• Conduct inventory and records audits to meet Aramark and regulatory standards.
• This position may supervise inmate labor.
