Job summary

TooJay's is seeking a Restaurant Commissary Lead for our West Palm Beach facility. The role supports the commissary team to meet inventory demands and standards, outlining responsibilities from training to vendor relations.

You will coach staff, process orders, and ensure accurate invoicing while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines. The position requires the ability to motivate staff, manage production, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment with regular Sunday-Thursday

Qualifications

• Shows initiative in job performance and problem solving.

• Flexible long hours when needed; Sundays-Thursdays 8am-3pm.
• Medium work with lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand during the entire shift.
• Capable to maneuver throughout dining and kitchen areas.
• Able to operate front and back-office computer systems and equipment.
• Able to reach overhead, bend, crouch, lift, stand, sit, twist, and communicate intentions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the activities of the commissary team; on-going training and communication of performance standards.
• Processes orders, orders supplies and products and manages billing by entering invoices correctly.
• Helps to manage production, repairs, and maintenance.
• Teaches, coaches and mentors others to maintain high standards.
• Follows company regulations, policies, procedures, standards, and goals with urgency.
• Maintains cleanliness of the commissary by inspecting and directing work actions of team members.
• Ensures safety, sanitation, and security guidelines are always followed.
• Resolves daily operational issues; completes accident reports accurately; responsive to GM and Risk Management.
• Communicates and enforces the priority of back door security.
• Maintains commitment to uniform and grooming standards for themselves and the team.
• Maintains good relationships with vendors.
• Checks email daily and responds to requests from the General Manager and the Support Center.
