Job description

Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a knack for operating complex machinery? We are seeking a dedicated Commingler Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for running and maintaining high-speed equipment that processes and sorts mail.

As a Commingler Operator, you'll be key to ensuring all of our mailings are processed efficiently and accurately. Pay for this position will be $22.00 per hour.

This is a first-shift role with hours from 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday.

WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:

  • Machine Setup and Operation: Setting up the machine for each job, which includes loading mailing lists, adjusting settings, and ensuring the correct materials (like envelopes and inserts) are in place.
  • Feeding and Sorting Mail: Manually feeding finished mail into the machine's hoppers, sorting it by hand, and palletizing the processed mail for final delivery.
  • Quality Control: Constantly monitoring the machine's output to ensure every piece of mail is processed correctly, with the right address, postage, and sorting information.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Clearing jams and addressing any minor issues that arise during a production run. Operators are often responsible for performing routine maintenance and cleaning to keep the equipment running smoothly.
  • Record Keeping: Reading and interpreting production reports, as well as keeping accurate records of mail shipments and processing metrics.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhering to all company safety rules and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • This is a fast-paced role that requires a strong attention to detail, a knack for solving problems, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
