The role leads a team responsible for reviewing and approving commercial development projects for compliance with the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).

Qualifications

• Four-Year degree in Planning, Architecture, Geography, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Political Science, Public Administration, Social Science or related degree.
• Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible planning experience in multiple planning areas.
• Master’s degree in planning, Architecture, Geography, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Political Science, Public Administration, Social Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise zoning staff and ensure compliance with the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).
• Collaborate with internal partners and external customers to advance zoning initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver training and updates on UDO and Legacy Code.
