Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a Commercial Warehouse Supervisor in Greensboro, NC to oversee warehouse personnel and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will coordinate tire delivery routes, manage driver schedules, and maintain accurate inventory and DVIR records in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership skills, 2+ years in a related management position, and familiarity with Paylocity/AS400 is a plus. Forklift certification and lean/six-sigma credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years' experience within the industry or a related management position.
• Familiarity with Paylocity and AS400 software is a plus.

We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the “extra mile” philosophy to fulfill our Commercial Warehouse Supervisor role.

The Commercial Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse personnel and making sure they are safely and efficiently completing day-to-day tasks. This includes mount/dismount area, shipping/receiving, as well as organization of stock and customer retread area tires. Must coordinate tire delivery routes daily, oversee route driver schedules, keep up with Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR), and ensure proper maintenance of route trucks.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:

• Responsible for the security, efficiency, and flow of warehouse inventory.
• Responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing all monthly inventory audits.
• Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently.
• Accurately inventory inbound/outbound tire shipments and process paperwork completely.
• Accurately identify and enter casing information into BIB Tread Mobile device (BTM), as well as, properly barcode client’s tires and wheels.
• Oversees and executes the scrap out analysis process for Snider customers.
• Direct warehouse associates when tires need to be pulled or mounted for tire deliveries.
• In charge of and accounting for wheels being submitted for reconditioning.
• Responsible for counting and reconciling monthly retread inventory.
• Run monthly retread reports.
• Coordinate with route driver; pull orders, and deliver tires based on customer’s needs.
• Report customer inventory levels upon request.
• Assist the Branch Manager with managing and maintaining inventory according to company standards.
• Responsible for maintaining up to date employee administrative files, DOT Med Cards, TIA certifications, forklift safety, employee evaluations, etc.
• Assist the Branch Manager with matters regarding P&L, employee payroll/overtime, and overall expenses.
• Responsible for the overall organization, inventory, and cleanliness of warehouse.
• Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE and demonstrate safety conscious mindset.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance, show up to work on time and in the correct uniform.
• Adheres to all policies, procedures and values of Snider Fleet Solutions.

Work will be a combination of office and service shop/warehouse setting. This will be at one of our commercial/industrial tire and or mechanical truck service centers. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, interact with moving mechanical parts/equipment, and the noise level at the service center is usually moderate to high.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Education or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years' experience within the industry or a related management position.
• Familiarity with Paylocity and AS400 software is a plus.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Forklift certification, obtained after employment.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma (SME), preferred.
• Commercial TIA certification preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and operate other software (AS400, SAP, Paylocity, BTN, etc.)
