The Manitowoc Company in Bloomington is looking for MGX Shop Crane Technicians responsible for inspecting and maintaining crane equipment. Candidates should have at least two years of experience and must be proficient with Grove RT & TMS Cranes.
The role offers a competitive pay of $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, a $4,500 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) and tuition reimbursement.
MGX Shop Crane Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various crane equipment including mobile cranes and boom trucks. This position reports to the Service Manager.
Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 sign‑on bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for our Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year. Relocation assistance may also be available to those who qualify.
This is a full‑time position with 1st shift hours. Overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions. This position will be required to work in an environment with exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures and various weather conditions, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. There is frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This position offers a pay range between $30.00 - $40.00 per hour depending on skills and qualifications. Pay is provided on a bi‑weekly basis and there are 14 days in the pay period, beginning on a Monday and ending on a Sunday.
A customized training plan and career path is identified for each technician and provided within the first week of employment, outlining growth and advancement opportunities.
