Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as insurance, risk management or economics.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Copilot).
Industry internship or related experience preferred.
Demonstrates leadership and a positive learning mindset.

Responsibilities

Complete a structured underwriting curriculum including GL, Excess and Inland Marine.
Attend training sessions and complete assignments, case studies and assessments.
Coordinate with mentors for on‑the‑job exposure in account management and risk assessment.
Develop knowledge in underwriting principles, risk assessment, pricing and broker relationships.
Support underwriters in developing solutions for small and mid‑market clients.
Participate in coaching and check‑ins to track progress toward full underwriting role.
