Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting, or related work experience preferred.
• Three years’ experience in a small business/commercial lending environment.
• Established knowledge of financial accounting theory and logic, loan structuring, commercial products and services.
• Able to interpret and discuss analytical data and make credit recommendations to Senior Management and/or Risk Management.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient with PCs and Windows, MS Office applications (Word & Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites commercial business, real estate, agriculture, and SBA 504 loan requests.
• Analyzes financial information and recommends loan actions within authority.
• Prepares loan for legal documentation and monitors closing process.
• May assist Relationship Managers to maximize cross sales during processing.
• Coordinates with appraisal and escrow for secured loans.
• Monitors renewals, compliance, and delinquencies.
• Maintains documentation and assists in interim credit reports and real estate updates.
