Job summary

Rural Mutual Insurance seeks an experienced Commercial Underwriter - Agribusiness to join the field underwriting team serving Germantown, Wisconsin and surrounding counties. You will travel your region, evaluate risks, conduct on-site inspections, and make underwriting decisions that support profitable growth.

This hybrid, home-based field role requires travel within the territory. Applicants must live in Wisconsin and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Commercial lines underwriting experience required.
• Background working directly with agents, insureds, or field representatives preferred.
• Farm, agricultural, or agribusiness underwriting experience is highly desirable.
• Strong underwriting experience with interest in agricultural risks encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have commercial lines underwriting experience and a background working directly with agents, insureds, or field representatives. Candidates with field underwriting experience are strongly preferred. Farm, agricultural, or agribusiness underwriting experience is highly desirable. Candidates with strong commercial underwriting experience and an interest in agricultural risks are also encouraged to apply.
