Job summary

Rural Mutual Insurance seeks an experienced Commercial Underwriter - Agribusiness to join our field underwriting team serving Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and the surrounding counties. This hybrid role is a home-based field position requiring travel throughout the territory.

The ideal candidate has commercial lines underwriting experience and a background working directly with agents, insureds, or field representatives.

Qualifications

• Commercial lines underwriting experience with a background working directly with agents, insureds, or field representatives.
• Field underwriting experience is strongly preferred.
• Farm, agricultural, or agribusiness underwriting experience is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial underwriting experience with interest in agricultural risks is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risks and conduct on-site inspections across the assigned Wisconsin territory.
