Job Description: Commercial Truck Painter at Beltway Companies

Beltway Companies, the largest commercial truck dealership in Maryland, is hiring in Baltimore! Our advanced facilities and cutting-edge equipment support the latest trucking technology, fostering an environment of innovation.

We have an immediate opening for a Commercial Truck Painter at our Baltimore, MD Body Shop. Our Painters are vital team members, ensuring every vehicle meets high aesthetic and quality standards. Work at the most modern truck paint and body shop in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area!

Our Baltimore facility features a 60 ft. AFC spray booth capable of painting two trucks simultaneously in different colors, with exhaust filtering to meet EPA regulations. We paint and refinish a variety of vehicles, including road tractors, trailers, box trucks, school buses, RVs, vans, and utility bodies. We also handle vehicle rebranding and fleet re-identification.

Position Overview

• Prep, mask, and paint commercial vehicles and components
• Mix and apply paint to match OEM or custom colors
• Maintain spray booth and painting equipment for optimal performance
• Inspect surfaces and perform minor bodywork/touch-ups
• Collaborate with body technicians and estimators to deliver high-quality results

Requirements

We seek a skilled, detail-oriented Commercial Truck Painter with a strong work ethic and dedication to high-quality finishes. The ideal candidate has painting experience, a positive attitude, and a drive to produce professional, showroom-quality results.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in automotive or commercial vehicle painting (training available)
• Personal painting tools and equipment (specialty tools and spray guns preferred; some shop tools provided)
• Self-motivated team player capable of working independently without sacrificing quality

Preferred Experience (not required)

• Experience with medium and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, or box trucks
• Knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and modern refinishing techniques
• Familiarity with surface prep, masking, priming, and HVLP spray equipment
