Job summary

Stewart in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented title professional to support nationwide transactions. You will search public records, examine titles, and help determine the legal condition of properties as part of production centers, branch offices, or title teams.

Responsibilities

  • Opening new commercial title files and ensuring all necessary information and documentation is obtained.
  • Ordering title searches, abstracts, surveys, and other required due diligence items.
  • Reviewing title documentation and assisting with the preparation and completion of title commitments.
  • Identifying outstanding title requirements and working with the appropriate team members to move files toward closing.
  • Ordering and reviewing title updates prior to closing to identify any new liens, judgments, recordings, or other matters affecting the property.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized files throughout the transaction.
  • Monitoring deadlines and proactively following up on outstanding items.
  • Communicating effectively with internal team members, customers, attorneys, lenders, and other transaction parties.
  • Supporting underwriters and escrow officers throughout the transaction and helping ensure each file is prepared for an efficient and timely closing.

Job Summary

Pay Range & Benefits

$47,600.00 - $69,800.00 Annually The base salary range provided is consistent with similar roles at the Company. The base salary range is not an absolute, but a guide, and actual offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, education, experience, location, market conditions, and other compensation components. Depending upon all of the preceding considerations, the base salary may be lower or higher than the stated range.
